Halloween is the only holiday that everyone's a bit confused about; the churches don't recognize it, no one has the same feeling about it, Hallmark doesn't really know what to do with it. It just turns into this semi-creepy yet whimsical entity tied to everything Fall. Halloween is this pumpkin. Seems really cool, but in the end it's just smoke and mirrors—in this case, a flashlight.
